Sermon Summary
The Bible points to Jesus’ return, with over 300 references in the New Testament and nearly 1,850 in the Old Testament. He first came as a humble Savior, but His second coming will be powerful and visible to all. The trumpet will sound, the dead in Christ will rise, and the living will be transformed. Before His return, the world will face wars, famine, lawlessness, unrest, and the rise of the man of lawlessness.
Jesus’ return marks the beginning of God’s renewed Kingdom, bringing justice, resurrection, and a restored earth where He dwells with His people. Eternity does not mean leaving the earth for heaven; it is God living with His people on a glorified, renewed earth. As believers, we are called to stay watchful, be ready, and live in hope, knowing that His coming brings peace, justice, and eternal life with Christ.
