Sermon Summary

This message from The Lord Has Anointed Me reminds us that Jesus was sent to help four kinds of people: the poor in spirit, the brokenhearted, the captives, and the bound. He came for those who know they need Him, like the woman with the issue of blood, who reached out in faith and was healed. He heals the broken when we choose to forgive, just like Joseph forgave his brothers and saw God use his pain for good. Jesus also sets captives free by renewing their minds, like Paul, who left his old life behind and focused on God’s call. And for those bound by darkness, like Mary Magdalene, deliverance comes through staying close to Jesus and fighting in prayer. This message ends with hope: God wants to use you. No matter your past or what you think disqualifies you, He can use what’s in your hand to do great things – just like He used a stick with Moses, lunch with the disciples, and even broken people throughout the Bible. God can and will use you too.
