Sermon Summary
In the last days, Scripture warns of shaking in the world—wars, deception, and lawlessness—but also a calling for the Church to rise in purity and power. Jesus asks if He’ll find faith when He returns (Luke 18:8), reminding us that being morally upright or outwardly spiritual isn’t enough. Like the foolish virgins who had lamps but no oil, many will appear ready but lack true intimacy with Him. The greatest danger isn’t the devil—it’s spiritual complacency. The Church in Ephesus started strong, burning millions in occult items, but decades later Jesus rebuked them for leaving their first love. This is a wake-up call to keep our lamps full, hearts burning, and eyes fixed—not just on end-time signs, but on staying close to the Bridegroom.
