Sermon Summary

The church isn’t built around a personality but around God’s presence, power, and purpose. When we focus on Him, He works through us to impact others. We all carry something—either the weight of our problems or the power of His presence. As followers of Christ, it’s our responsibility to carry His presence daily, not just for ourselves but to bring His influence wherever we go. His power isn’t about effort or striving; it’s about stepping forward in faith and trusting that He will move, just as He did when the priests carrying the ark stepped into the Jordan and the waters parted.

We don’t need to prove our relationship with God—His work in our lives speaks for itself. His favor isn’t about status; it’s about being equipped to do what He’s called us to do. True growth comes from staying connected to Him, not chasing recognition. That’s why daily encounters with God matter. Prioritizing time in prayer, Scripture, and worship isn’t an extra—it’s essential. The way we seek Him shapes the way we live, and when we stay rooted in Him, our lives will naturally reflect His presence and power.
