Sermon Notes
Sermon Summary
The sermon “The Heart’s Hidden Condition” teaches that the condition of our hearts is what truly matters to God. True impurity comes not from external actions but from within, as Jesus explains in Matthew 5:27-28, where even lustful thoughts are sinful. Our hearts are like gardens; bad desires, if left unchecked, produce destructive fruit, while good hearts bear good fruit (Matthew 7:17-20). God searches our hearts and offers to cleanse and renew them (Jeremiah 17:9-10, Psalm 51:10). To live in freedom and fulfill God’s purpose, we must guard our hearts (Proverbs 4:23) and focus on pure, honorable thoughts (Philippians 4:8).
