Sermon By Kamal Saleem
1) We Are Living in the Last Days
What is the difference between the phrase ‘in the last days,’ and ‘the last days?’ The last days refers to the end of a season but in the last days refers to the end of all days. It is when all things come to an end.
Don’t ignore what God is doing right now. The age of prophecy is coming about like never before.
2) God Works by Appointed Times
God has an appointed time when He is going to pour out His Spirit on all humanity.
What God promised, He fulfils—on His timetable.
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy. ” – Acts 2:17-18
Muslims are the fastest-growing group of people and make up 1/3 of all people on the earth. Despite this, most Christians are afraid to reach out to Muslims as people. Many Christians are not prepared to talk to Muslims about Christianity.
The church cannot be afraid of the mission field. Share on X3) “Even on Servants” — Hagar and Ishmael Matter in God’s Story
God hears the cry of the overlooked and the rejected.
This whole story in the Middle East starts with a family feud between Sarah and Hagar. Suni Muslims came from Ishmael. Shia Muslim came from Keturah who was from Hagar. Israelites all came from Sarah.
Sarah tells Abraham to get rid of Hagar and Ishmael. Abraham was reluctant to do so, but God told Abraham to listen to Sarah his wife. Abraham sent Hagar and Ismael away with some food. The food and water ran out for Hagar and Ishmael. Hagar then places Ishmael under a bush and Hagar left him there to fend for himself.
Ishmael then cried; this is where God hears. When Ishmael cried, God intercepted Hagar and asked her, why is Ishmael crying? Hagar’s eyes were then opened to the well of water. The same well of water God made a covenant with Abraham by. God then made a covenant with Hagar. He told her He will bless her, multiply her, and make her into a great nation. God then tells Hagar to name her son Ishmael. Ishmael means God hears.
Healing starts when truth speaks louder than fear. Share on X4) God Is Drawing Muslims to Jesus
Now, we come to the last days of which we are now living. God is separating right now; He is separating the sheep from the goats; lies from the truth. God is going to bring Ishmael in and when He does, Ishmael’s destiny is to save his brother Israel.
The Church must be equipped and willing, not intimidated.
My Involvement with Terrorism
I grew up as a Muslim. I was taught to pray to Allah as a very young child, but Inever heard one thing from him. My father told me I would have to go to work. Both parents walked away from me and I felt orphaned like Ishmael. The god I was told to pray to doesn’t talk, and both my parents walked away from me. I had to work 6 days a week and was beaten up by gangs where I lived.
I was soon recruited by the Muslim Brotherhood where they trained him how to do civilization Jihad and influence culture; I was being used by these people and became a slave and soldier to them.
At 7 years old, this group gave me my first gun. My first mission was to go into Israel with a supply of illegal weapons to kill Jewish people. When I returned successfully a year later, I was a hero and was promoted to recruiter to get other kids to do the same.
My Second Mission
During my second mission, I encountered death and destruction when we were hit with gunfire. Many of the kids I had recruited to my group were killed. I remember crying for my mother, but she did not come. However, a Man came to him with great speed, dressed all in white, grabbed me and in a flash, placed me behind a rock to protect me. This man then disappeared before I could turn my head again.
I came back to Beirut and became very angry. I was particularly angry at Christians because they had so much, yet refused to give me anything. We, as Christians, need to share what we have with others: the love and knowledge of God.
Your pain does not cancel your calling. Share on X5) My Testimony: From Violence and Bondage to Redemption in Jesus
Next, I was sent to America with the goal to infiltrate the youth. I was involved in a major car crash that sent me to the hospital with major injuries. Doctors nursed me back to health and brought me into their Christian community. At one point, I prayed to Allah because I wanted a relationship with him but He didn’t ever answer. I asked about the wonderful Christians I met at hospital that ask their God for things and He gives it to them. Christians call Him, ‘Abba Father’ and He calls them His children. I asked Allah to speak to me so I could know that Allah is greater than the Christian God. Allah again said nothing that day, nor ever since.
I heard a voice in my head to end it all. So, I grabbed a gun to kill myself. At that point, I heard a voice; a voice who knew me. The voice said, “Kamal, my son, I am the God of Father Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.”
Jesus stood there in the room with me dressed in white. I had seen him before but did not know who He was. Then, I asked Him who He was. He responded back with “I am He. I am the beginning and the end.” Jesus told me to get up. I noticed my back and neck were now perfectly healed instantly and I got up.
As I stood, I knew my heart had changed from one of hate to one of love. Filled with joy as if for the first time, I started to dance around. I told Jesus that he would die for Him. Jesus told me not to die and that He had already died for me so that I may live. He told me, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few; be an ambassador of Mine.”
Jesus doesn’t just forgive—He transforms identity and destiny.
6) Today Is the Day of Salvation
Today is the day of salvation; it’s not too late. It was not too late for me, once abandoned by my family, I had been a pawn in the terror regime of the Muslim Brotherhood, praying to a god who does not listen. I traveled to Texas and after a tragedy, saw Christ’s love and care. The God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob does listen to and answers prayers. Salvation can be yours. Don’t delay—respond to Jesus today.
Many times when we look at our story, we see the bad part of our story, but at the end of our story, there can be a victory if we trust in the Lord. God has a plan for you of hope and a future.
The end times are not about fear, they’re about harvest. Share on XWatch The Full Sermon Here:
