Many believers ask why we do not see more people saved, healed, and delivered. It is an honest question, but the answer begins with something very practical. God is sovereign and can do what He desires, yet throughout Scripture He chooses to partner with people. It can be both exciting and challenging because it means our willingness to step out actually matters.
Jesus commanded His followers to go into all the world and preach the gospel, promising that signs would accompany those who believe. In Mark 16, the disciples did not stay where they were waiting for something to happen. They went, and the Lord worked with them, confirming His Word through miracles. God still works that way today. He is looking for hearts that are available.
The Bike Only Works When You Ride It
I like to picture it this way. A bicycle was never designed to fulfill its purpose while leaning against a wall. It has to move. The same is true for us. It is easy to convince yourself that someone else will pray, someone else will share the gospel, or someone else will reach your city. Meanwhile, opportunities keep passing by.
The first step is simply deciding to go. You may not know exactly what will happen, and you may feel nervous walking up to a stranger, but God is not asking you to predict the outcome. He is asking you to make yourself available. When we move in obedience, we give Him something to work with.
Our responsibility is obedience. God's responsibility is the result. Share on XHealing Opens the Door
One of the greatest tools for evangelism is healing because it captures people’s attention and opens their hearts. Scripture tells us that by the stripes of Jesus we are healed, Isaiah 53:5 and that truth flows from His finished work on the cross. Healing is not earned through our performance. It comes through faith in what Christ has already accomplished.
When praying for people, stay natural and genuine. Speak with honesty, believe God for His touch, and pray with confidence rather than fear. God is the One who heals, but He invites us to lay hands on the sick and trust Him to move.
Step Past Fear
One of the biggest barriers is worrying about what other people will think. Don’t let fear of people’s opinions stop you from obeying God’s word.
Spend time with the Lord, and courage begins to flow naturally. The apostles were recognized as ordinary men, but everyone could tell they had been with Him. Then, when the opportunity comes, take the step instead of standing on the sidelines.
Boldness activates the anointing. Share on XGive Jesus All the Glory
As God uses you, don’t confuse His anointing with personal achievement. We are not the source of the miracle. We are simply the ones carrying the message and making ourselves available. The miracle belongs to Jesus, the power belongs to Jesus, and every testimony points back to Jesus.
Live a holy life, stay close to Him, and keep your heart humble. There are still countless people waiting for someone to pray, someone to believe, and someone to share the gospel. God is still looking for willing hands and feet to touch cities, neighborhoods, and families today.
It is time to get on the bike and go!
