Sacrifice To Miracles

How We Can Experience Signs And Wonders

I believe God is preparing to take us deeper in Him, so He can take us wider with Him and get us higher for Him. We have a vision to touch thousands locally and millions globally.

Joshua 3:5, “And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, the Lord will do wonders among you”.
Spiritual things work with three main principles: the right soil, the right seed and the right season. Share on X

The Right Soil

The right soil is the environment that you are in. You cannot grow spiritually if you are in a wrong environment. Bananas do not grow in Alaska because of the environment. You need to be in the right environment.

The Right Seed

There has to be the right seed. You can be in a proper environment but if you are not planting the right seeds in that environment, you will not reap a harvest. If you are in a right place but you are not making the right decisions, even though that soil is fruitful, your life will be fruitless because you are not planting the right seeds there. Planting seeds is making decisions.

Galatians 6:7-9, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

The Right Season

Soil is the environment which we are sowing into. Seeds are the decisions we are taking – fasting, prayer, Bible reading, separation from the world, and then there is the right season. No one gets a harvest instantly the moment they plant a seed. There is a season or time for things to happen.

Revival is not an accident; it is a harvest of the right seeds being planted in the right soil. Spiritual breakthrough is a consequence of the right environment meeting the right decision at God’s time. Share on X

In the case of Joshua, the people of Israel were in the right place but needed to plant the right seeds to separate themselves, for tomorrow was God’s time. God has never stopped doing miracles in your life but for Him to do wonders, you need to plant the right seeds.

Today For Tomorrow

Today’s sacrifice is tomorrow’s supernatural. Today’s separation is tomorrow’s success. Today’s sanctification is tomorrow’s miracles. Today’s obedience equals tomorrow’s destiny. Today’s purity is tomorrow’s potential unlocked and purpose blessed.

Many of us are discouraged from making sacrifices today because God does not promise that we will reap today. Conversely, today’s disobedience is tomorrow’s defeat. Today’s overindulgence is tomorrow’s obesity. Today’s laziness is tomorrow’s poverty. Today’s disrespect is tomorrow’s calamity.

Everything you are today is a result of what happened yesterday. If you want your life to change, sanctify yourself today because tomorrow, the Lord wants to do wonders in your midst.

Salvation And Sanctification

2 Timothy 2:20-21, “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor; sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.”

God does not place the responsibility to sow good seeds, to separate from the world on Himself but on ‘anyone’. He has told you how to become a vessel of honor and glory in His great house. Sometimes, you just feel dissatisfied with the status quo and the way your Christian life is. That dissatisfaction is an invitation from the Holy Ghost to separate yourself.

The difference between salvation and sanctification is salvation occurs instantly, sanctification occurs gradually. Salvation requires faith; sanctification requires surrender and yielding. Salvation is complete but sanctification is growth. Salvation removes the penalty of sin; sanctification removes the desire of sin. God desires for all to be saved. God commands all to be sanctified. The Holy Spirit initiates the sanctification process but you have to respond. Salvation is you getting out of the world; sanctification is God getting the world out of you. Salvation changes your eternal destination. Sanctification transforms your character.

We do not believe that if you improve your Christian life, you are more saved. It’s not by your good works or church attendance but we are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ by grace through faith. You can be saved yet be in a religion instead of being in a renewal. That is why we have to take the step from salvation into sanctification where we will experience the purpose, power and wonders of God intended for our lives.

Crooked paths must be made straight.

Five Practical Steps

Isaiah 40:3-5, “The voice of the one crying in the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord. Make straight in the desert, the way for our God. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low. The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth. And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together for the mouth of God has spoken”.

1. Repentance Precedes Revival.

Many people want the wonders but don’t want God to fix their highway and crooked paths and rough places. You cannot have the supernatural without sanctification. Sanctification is a preparation for what is about to come.

2. Make A Way In The Wilderness.

You won’t feel like doing it. Wildernesses are hot, uncomfortable places. When you are in a spiritual wilderness, you feel like you are in a dry place. Do you know when the right time is to prepare for revival? Right now, in your wilderness. Start to build a highway for God in your wilderness. Discouragement is what the enemy will use to make excuses for why we are in a spiritual rut.

Make up your mind. If you are sick and tired of the way your Christian life is or you feel dry empty and hungry for more, those feelings are not just your dissatisfaction, it could be a signal from the Holy Spirit to sanctify yourself and start to prepare the way for the Lord.

3. High Things Need To Come Down.

Preparing yourself for revival means that every prideful high thing needs to come down. You cannot walk in holiness without humility. God’s grace and power can touch anybody and everybody but it only stays on people who are humble. Sometimes God allows our pride to be injured by the people closest to us but instead of trimming our pride, we trim relationships which exposed our pride. Bring that hill down. Take that mountain down. Don’t switch people, places or things, switch your attitude.

4. Every Low Thing Must Rise.

Fear, anxiety, inferiority and timidity will come up. If you feel you are not good enough or not worthy, it means you still think it is about you. You need to recognise that it is about God. Then your fear can be replaced with faith; insecurity will be replaced with identity. Your problem might not be that you have too many high hills but long deep valleys. It is time to fill those valleys in with the gravel of God’s promises. God might not change everybody’s view of you but He wants to change your view of yourself as you believe what He says about you.

5. Make Crooked Things Straight.

Don’t live your life by what you can get away with but what can bring me closer to Jesus or further from Him. It doesn’t have to be wrong to be crooked. If you are looking for a loophole, you will always find one but you will never find yourself in revival. You need to pay this price to have intimacy with God.
