Catch The Vision

The Vision Of God’s Kingdom

God has something for you; please don’t sabotage it. There is a reason and a purpose why you are reading this today. I am sorry to tell you that it is not about you. If you seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness first, then all you seek will be yours. Our family, business and jobs are just a by-product of what we have done in the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

I wonder how people still believe that if they neglect the kingdom, don’t participate in the Kingdom agenda and live for themselves, then they can ask God to bless them. That comes from a religious mindset. When Jesus died on the cross, He was raising up a new generation that loves God. You can be one of them because of what Jesus has done in your life. Jesus redeems you. He paid the penalty for your sin, shed His blood and died for you for the sole purpose of the redemptive plan of God.

When Jesus redeems you, He takes you out of darkness into the light, from curses to blessing, from blindness, He gives you revelation. Jesus takes you from bondage to freedom, from brokenness to wholeness and then you do nothing for Him. That is religion. You only think about yourself and your family while the Kingdom agenda has nothing to do with you. What about the Kingdom of God?

Remember Jesus’ warning that not everybody who says Lord, Lord, will enter the Kingdom of God. Jesus will say to some that He never knew them. Jesus is actively winning souls and changing lives; what have you done for Him? Thinking about your house? Family?

Religion destroys churches all over the world. I have been to 32 countries preaching the Gospel and training pastors and leaders and found the number one enemy of the Gospel are people with a religious spirit. The religious spirit never changes a city, a nation or a family. Until in faith the future of the world becomes more important than your future, you have no future. Life is not about us; it is about changing the world for Jesus. That is how big His vision is.

You have to reinforce the future with leaders. Prepare the future because satan has been preparing the future demonic leaders to run your nations and governments. You have to create another flow.

Process Of Discipleship

In the first 15 of my 34 years preaching the Gospel, I had a doubt because the Lord told me I would preach to thousands of people and it hadn’t come to pass. God told me that I had to learn how to walk with Him and that He was giving me everything He was supposed to. I realised that I needed to learn how to disciple my people and come out with a training process that would produce leaders. God told me to produce a pipeline that produces leaders.

  1. The first step is to help that student find their way back to God.
  2. Train them to start up their new life in Christ Jesus.
  3. Disciple them to put their lives back into the original design for their lives.
  4. Then you can empower them to go out to the nations.
2 Kings 2:19, “The people of the city said to Elisha, “Look, our Lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad and the land is unproductive.”

I have seen the barrenness, emptiness and brokenness of people. They are poor and suffering. The land is unproductive. For example, in my country, the Philippines, there are plenty of natural resources, gold, ores, oil and fossil fuels. But you see everywhere is poor and underdeveloped. It is strategically situated and endowed yet unproductive.

Water has the ability to flow but when bad water flows, it makes the land unproductive. This is when young people get corrupted in schools and go forth into life spreading that corruption. I knew after meditating on this verse that I needed to reach young students, so that if they come to know Jesus, they will flow with His power and make the land productive again. That is my vision. I saw the vision and walked with God. In the first three years after this, my ministry grew to 3,500. This went on until today it is over 20,000. God showed me that I could not complete this vision on my own and needed to impart this vision to other pastors and leaders.

2 Kings 2:20-21, “ “Bring me a new bowl,” he said, “And put salt in it.” So they brought it to him. Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying, “This is what the Lord says: ‘I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.’”

God showed me that He wants to bring the land back to life and restore every student, every person Christ died for. We need to reach the young people. My church consists of 80% young people. When I visit other churches, they are mostly 80% old people. If fail to reach the young people, you are not prepared for future. The church will die eventually. We have to reinforce our future with great leaders trained while they are young. If you can change the campuses, you can change the nation. If you change young people today, you can change the world’s future.

How To Bring The Salt

I asked God for wisdom on how to do this and He said start with one. Train one until they are able to disciple others, and before you know it, they will saturate the campus with the Gospel of Christ.

  1. Teach your people to become fluent in the Gospel.
  2. Create a community inside the campus.
  3. Let the campus community carry the Gospel cause.

We have a cause to fulfil. Today, we have 42 campuses for Christ. If you disciple, you will change the nations. Every Word God speaks happens and changes the nations. Until today, we are still doing this because it is an unfinished task. We still need to make disciples of all the nations and produce leaders for different aspects of society. That is how to change a city and a nation.

We prioritize the message of salvation. We must not become program oriented but people oriented. You don’t go to church for the program but for the people. You don’t have a ministry if you don’t have a people ministry because Jesus didn’t die on the cross for the church program; Jesus died for the people. On the Cross, Christ did not say, ‘Father, forgive them; they don’t know how to make a program.’ He said, ‘Father, forgive them; they do not know what they are doing.’

We must go to church for the right reason. The Bible says all the angels in Heaven rejoice over one sinner who repents. Why do the angels rejoice? Because they are caught up in the joy of Jesus. If you want to make Jesus happy, bring souls to Him. If no one is coming to know Jesus in your church, how can you rejoice? There is no verse in the Bible which says go and sing to all the nations or worship and dance in all the nations. The instruction is go and make disciples! (Matthew 28:19-20). This is our responsibility and our vision. This is about taking over the land. We need to bring to Gospel to every place through discipleship.

The only people Jesus knows are those who have a heart after His. He desires that no one will perish but that every soul should come to repentance. That is the heart of Jesus. Is that your heart? If you want your land to become productive again, you have to bring the salt to the spring. I started bringing the Gospel to campuses because that is where the leaders of the nations are developed. We need to do something now so that the land will never become unproductive again. When you come to know the Lord Jesus Christ, your original design is to become a great representative of the kingdom. When you listen to the Gospel, it doesn’t just redeem you from the power of sin and death but for renewal.

Saved To Be Renewed

You are not just saved to be saved; you are saved to be renewed in the way you think. That is why Jesus’ first message was repent for the Kingdom of God is near. Repent means change the way you think. The way you think has been contaminated by wrong information. Religion tells you focus on your family whereas we are to focus on God’s Kingdom.

Begin to trust only God and you will be able to partake in God’s agenda. How are your children? How would they flow? Would they be under drugs, frustrations, brokenness? They need the truth – the original information from God, the right source. Then they shall know the truth and the truth shall set them free, (John 8:36).

To make your disciples effective, they have to love training. Training is my happy hour. I started with twelve disciples. After they finished their training, I told them they had to make their own twelve. We still use the same process, materials and system. Now, I am teaching this to other churches.

Age doesn’t matter. Don’t count yourself out and sabotage the great plan of God for your life. You are designed to become fruitful and multiply, not just to produce. Preach the Gospel to every person and teach them that oppression can only be destroyed by the power of the blood of Jesus. Not every person in the church is free. Most of us are oppressed. How do I know this?

  1. You don’t dream for your nation.
  2. You lack the discipline to do that.
  3. There is no plan to change your nation.
  4. There is no right action to participate in towards that.

Oppressed people are so full of fear they cannot trust God. They want to secure their job and finances until they are completely full of themselves. They cannot plan about the plan of the Kingdom. Jesus will heal your oppression; begin to dream. Dream big things for your life and family but you have to discipline yourself. As a church, we dream, plan, discipline ourselves together and start doing the right thing.

2 Kings 2:21, “And the water has remained pure to this day, according to the word Elisha had spoken.”

You must receive this revelation of the vision yourself. Then, you will begin to be like water that has been purified by God. Your life will flow to your children and grandchildren and wherever you go, the land will become productive. That is your calling. Your life is empowered today because you are going to flow. When you go to your city, office, school, home, you are going to flow and bring the power of the Gospel. The city will be changed, your home will be changed and transformed because your church is bringing the Gospel full blast to change the nations and the world. If we can change the young people today, we can change the world tomorrow. You have to start declaring today that your city is the city of the Lord Jesus!
