I was saved at 19, married at 21, and pastoring at 25. What are you doing with your life? Let Jesus use you.
Sin is fun for a while but you will have to pay the price. Share on XChristianity Is All About Hell
Why are we here, and why do we do all we do at church? It is about hell. Christmas is coming soon and Christmas is about hell too. The Bible says of Christmas, “For unto us a savior was born…” A savior from what? Hell. Easter is coming after that. What is Easter about? Jesus Christ dying and rising again for your sin so that you do not have to go to hell.
It is great that you maybe got rid of your drug habit, became a more productive citizen and bring your family to a safe environment called Church but it is bigger than that. You might say that you believe in Heaven and hell but the question is, how much has your theology changed your lifestyle? What you say you believe is not what you believe; what you believe is how you live your life.
By default, the whole world is going to hell and you, as a Christian, have the only answer. The answer is Jesus and the answer is you because the only Jesus this world is going to see is the one that lives inside of you and me. The Bible says how will they be saved except someone preaches to them? – Romans 10:14
You might say that you believe in Heaven and hell but the question is, how much has your theology changed your lifestyle? Share on XThe Father’s Heart
Before you got saved, Christianity was all about you, but once you get saved, Christianity is about everyone but you. The heart of God is that none would perish but that all would come to repentance (Matthew 9:13-14). Nobody wants to talk about hell in America. And because there is no preaching about hell, that is why we have hell on our streets. As a nation, we have completely lost the fear and reverence of God.
What you say you believe is not what you believe; what you believe is how you live your life. Share on XJesus and Hell
Jesus Christ spoke more about hell than all of the other writers in Scripture combined. Furthermore, Jesus even preached on hell more than He did on love! Christian means Christlike – we should do as Jesus did. We should preach what Jesus preached.
“Again, the kingdom of Heaven is like a fishing net that was thrown into the water and caught fish of every kind. When the net was full, they dragged it up onto the shore, sat down, and sorted the good fish into crates, but threw the bad ones away. That is the way it will be at the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked people from the righteous, throwing the wicked into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” – Matthew 13:47-50
The one thing that we all have in common as human beings is we will all die. Then, it is Heaven or hell. There is no purgatory or in-between place in the Bible. It is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgment. We have to let people know about this. Jesus was truthful and to the point about the awful reality of hell.
“If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It’s better to enter into eternal life with only one hand than to go into the unquenchable fires of hell with two hands. If your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It’s better to enter into eternal life with only one foot than to be thrown into hell with two feet. And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out. It’s better to enter the Kingdom of God with only one eye than to have to eyes and be thrown into hell, ‘where the maggots never die and the fire never goes out.'” – Mark 9:43
The reality is that sometimes, we have to change our playmates and our playgrounds to serve God.There are things you will have to give up to follow Jesus in Spirit and truth. How much do you have to hate someone to not tell them the truth about hell? Jesus didn’t just save you to heal you, deliver you, and bless you, He wants you to be part of His Kingdom. He gave you a testimony to save other people. This generation of Christians is responsible for this generation of sinners. God chose you to be saved at this time for your generation. According toe Jesus, most of humanity is not going to Heaven. It is not because He wants to send people to hell but they choose their sin and compromise over their life with God. Jesus said it would be difficult and sadly, few are willing to pay that price. The crux of the matter is, if you are a Christian, do you care?
The list of those going to hell
“But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerors, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” – Revelation 21:8
Let me tell you who the cowardly are not: unbelievers. That means everybody else on this list has knowledge of Jesus. Unbelievers are their own category. Don’t live in delusion. These are people that know Jesus and choose not to live for Him. You have to confess Jesus before men. Silence is consent to this world. The cowardly are lukewarm Christians. That is what this verse means. We need to stop living the life of ‘what is the least commitment I can make to God and still go to Heaven?’
“Don’t fool yourselves. Bad friends will destroy you. Be sensible and stop sinning. You should be embarrassed that some people still don’t know about God.” – 1 Corinthians 15:33-34
