Lord Restore The Land Of My Life

The Lord Promises To Restore

How many want God to heal and restore the land of your life? Some need healing in their minds, others in their bodies. For some, it is in their finances, family or purpose. How many believe that God wants to heal our lives, cities, states and nations? I believe God has given us the solution in the Word of God to heal our land.

Church should be the loudest place in the city; when praises go up, the power of God comes down. Click To Tweet
2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

This is the promise of God that if we play our part, He will heal and restore the land of our lives. I believe healing and restoration begin in the house of God as much as judgment and forgiveness do. When we get our house in order, the cities, nations and kingdoms of this world will call our God the Christ. They will bow their knees when we get our house in order. There is no nation that is too far gone that God cannot restore and heal. But He needs us to stand in the gap and play our part through humility.

We are called to be an army of soul winners and disciple makers.

Some of us should never have made it this far but God has kept us alive for a purpose. God has a purpose for your life and this calling is for every born-again Christian. You might be a parent, business person or a spouse but before all those purposes comes what Jesus commissioned His disciples to do before He ascended.

Jesus told them all authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to Him. And He has given it to us in His name. There is no devil, demon, bondage or hindrance that is greater than the authority which God has given to every believer in Christ. You might have to learn it and how to walk in it but the moment you receive Christ, you step into full authority and power. Then with that authority, He wants us to go and make disciples. I believe Jesus saved the best for last and that this was the most important message Jesus preached.

Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Turning From Wicked Ways

If you have turned from your wicked ways, humbled yourself and prayed, you still have to answer the call to make disciples.

Love God’s people like you love your own children; disciple, train and raise them. Click To Tweet

Speaking of his spiritual children in the church of Galatia, Paul took full responsibility for them. Not just to convert them but to form the character of Christ in them. He used his authority to drive the devils out of them and then journey with them. Hew knew that the devil might be gone but its mentality is still in many. After deliverance, if you are still fighting crazy thoughts, it is because that spirit created a mentality in your life. Now, you have to go to the Word of God and renew your mind. Then, not only will you not go back to that life but somebody in the future is going to need the freedom you received.

Disciple making is a journey not a moment. What you carry should be imparted to the next generation. Click To Tweet

We are all going to stand before God and give account of our obedience to that commission. The question won’t just be did you get saved but where are your disciples?

Four Stages Of Spirituality

Everyone everywhere is in one of these spiritual stages:

A baby in the Lord, just like in life a baby doesn’t know what it is doing.

A child in the Lord. Children try to eat or do everything, good or bad for them and can come up with crazy, even dangerous things.

A young man, the Bible says you have overcome the wicked one, you are in leadership, training or internship and beginning to eat the meat of the Word.

A father in the Lord, you are multiplying and can be trusted.

If you are a baby, it is not time to make disciples but time to get better. When you are a child, it’s the same thing. As a young man, if you’re not making disciples, you are not fulfilling your purpose.

Inside every person is the grace, authority and ability to obey the great commission. Click To Tweet

There are people in your life and especially in your church who have to start to progress to the next stage of spiritual development. If you knew them five years ago as a baby and they still are, it is not right. They have to grow up to change their own ‘diaper.’ Although they may have accidents, they have to start to grow to help those who struggled with the same things they did. In the natural, eventually each child is supposed to have their own family and raise their own children. This should be happening in the churches of God, the same way.

You Are A Disciple Maker

You are a disciple maker whether you know it or not. In the same way, you are a healer, deliverer, you are wealthy whether you know it or not because Jesus Christ came inside your life.

Raising a child changes you way more than it changes the child. True discipleship will change you way more than the people you are working with. That is why people don’t do it. If we say we love God, we have to pick up our cross, deny ourselves and raise God an army.

When you stand before the Lord, I want you to hear these words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
