Prayer For Ukraine And Russia

A Call To Prayer

“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth”.

1 Timothy 2:1-4,

This is a call to prayer and for the church to become intentional about their prayer for peace. In periods of crisis, it has often been quoted that “the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”.

In a time of tension between the nations of Russia and the Ukraine, riding on the back of a pandemic, this is a time the Body of Christ, the Church, needs to humble itself in prayer and come before Jesus Christ, the Lord of Heaven and earth to intercede for His mercy, intervention and peace.

Pray For Unity, God’s Intervention And Peace

Ukrainian-born Pastor Vladimir Savchuk and his Russian wife, Lana Savchuk led the congregation and online viewers of Hungry Generation Church in prayer for the Lord’s peace and intervention over the nations of Russia and the Ukraine.
